Of course, it doesn’t always feel happy, does it?
Bad awful things happen and our hearts hurt.
We ask the questions:
Our minds can’t answer these questions. I have found that in my darkest moments, a choice must be made- Do I allow the darkness of hopelessness take me?
The abyss of anger overwhelm me?
Do I respond with the same hatred I received?
Do I do as God has asked me to?
Stand for right.
Love others as myself.
Turning to the foundation of Christ that has always held me when in self-doubt, pain, unjustified abuse, death of loved ones, physical pain, and the greatest battle of my life: finding happiness after burying a child.
I testify that God’s peace has been enough to give me purpose and joy.
