Ailsa when she was little.

Then I’d thought would be a total girly girl. Note the self chosen accessories.

Now, I’m proud of her independence of thought, filling her mind intentionally with learning, her self chosen thought.

During our family church, she said she never heard about disasters or sad things until family prayer when we were praying for those effected.

It struck me.

What if we all did the same as Ailsa? As it is not possible to not hear about sad things…

What if when we heard, we prayed.

That when we saw, we thought how could I help?

When we saw someone hurting, we reached out.

When negativity tries to pull us in, we change the literal channel.

To only allow the thoughts in our minds to be coated in action and kindness.
